When is Gas Price low?

Gas price is lower in the evening as they keep matching prices through out the day with their competitors. Make sure to fill up gas before 11 PM. Somewhere after 11:30 PM, all gas station gets a new price and will be the highest throughout the day until next evening.

If gas price is 145.9 / liter at 1 AM on 1 January, you are more likely to get even cheaper at 10 PM on 1 January.

To predict gas price for a longer period, you can learn Technical Analysis and check movement of USOIL on Trading View at the end of trading day. If crude oil falls by 2%, on 2nd day, you are more likely to see 2% drop in gas price.

Loyalty Programs

Mostly all gas station has their own loyalty programs (Points card). You can enroll in it and collect points when ever you fill up gas. Big companies give 1 cent back in reward for every liter you fill up. At times, you may get bonus points if there’s a promotion.
